Altar’d State started with a mission to fill a gap in the retail industry and change the world for the better.  Since 2009, they have grown their footprint from one fledgling retail shop to nearly 50 booming fashion boutiques across the country - click here for locations. Atar'd State is a Christian organization that plays Christian music in their stores, and in the dressing room, a book is available to write pray requests.

HOW THEY GIVE BACK

Whether it's through "Give Back" brands (which makes up 95% of their inventory), their Mission Monday program, funding employee volunteer hours, or various outreach opportunities, they are striving constantly to contribute to the world and their surrounding communities.

Give Back Brand

Every Altar'd State store and the home office sponsors children in high-risk areas of Peru. The sponsorship provides these children with the nutritional, educational, and psychological support they need to excel mentally and physically throughout their childhood. Every child in this program receives two nutritious meals, a school uniform, tutoring, after-school care, and counseling. The Altar'd State family is currently supporting 62 children totaling $24,800 annually. Additionally, Altar'd State has committed $212,565 to fund the development of a high school, a humanitarian aid storage center and a chapel in Cañete, Peru benefitting 2,170 citizens annually.

Mission Monday

Every Monday 10% of the daily proceeds goes to a chosen local charity. Every Monday in the months of September & October 10% of the daily proceeds at the Galleria store will go to Compassion that Compels - a national ministry & non-profit with a mission to reach every woman battling cancer with a compassion bag.
