The 7th annual North Texas Giving Day will take place TODAY. Since its inception in 2009, North Texas Giving Day has pumped more than $86 million into the local community, benefitting more than 2,000 nonprofit agencies.
Last year, the 18-hour online giving event raised a record-breaking $26.3 million. AMAZING!
HOW IT WORKS
Donors from all over the U.S., will be able to give to their favorite North Texas nonprofits on Sept. 17 from 6am to midnight at www.NorthTexasGivingDay.org.
Every gift of $25 or more made online today to your favorite agencies will receive bonus funds that will multiply their total. So your donation will go even further!
North Texas Giving Day allows donors to make gifts to multiple organizations straight from the NorthTexasGivingDay.org home page and enter your credit card information only once (they accept all major credit cards). You have the option to help cover credit card processing fees of 5.62% on the nonprofit page donation forms. When a donor selects 'yes' to this question, your tax-deductible donation will be increased by 5.62%. The processing fee consists of a credit card fee, and a software partner fee. Communities Foundation of Texas does not make any money on the transactions on North Texas Giving Day. All donations are tax deductible and irrevocable and will be for the unrestricted use of your chosen charity.
